I've been planning on bobbing my Rebel once Spring comes back (a few months to go in the southern hemisphere) and I was going to use the BCB kit, as I'm a novice with bikes and don't want to screw things up by going too DIY.
My frame is alright, but as I'm planning on painting my tank and fender matt black, I'd like to repaint the frame as well, as it's a bit stained and marked. I've already painted my engine whilst it's been in place (no easy task!) but wanted to know how easy it would be to remove the engine while most other things are off, so I can clean and paint the frame.
Also, any information on things I might need to think about when I do this, like if I'll have to fidget with the battery or electronics, would be appreciated. As I've not done this before, It's hard to imagine what issues might arise.
