Interesting... How much boost are you running? Are you still on stock internals? Where did you run your oil feed into? What size snail?

Looks cool. I'm wondering what it will do regarding engine life.

 

I haven't done the oil lines yet, the turbo is really big atleast for this engine but not really looking to go fast, it has stock internals only planning on boosting 3-5 lbs, I have plenty of leg space, you'll see when I take a pic of it with me on it, but I Still have to pressurize the carb and tune it

 

ive always kinda toyed with the idea but i couldnt figure out where to get the oil and to keep it cool enough to make it practical but then again... a turbo rebel doesnt scream practical to being with...

 

I'm making a small oil tank with pump inside

 

just made my oil tank that is going to sit under my seat to feed the turbo, now the wiring!

 

are you going to have enough flow to keep the turbo cool enough that it wont burn up?

 

Watching for progress. Interesting so far for sure!

Looks like a T3/T40E Hybrid turbo..
If that's the case, that was large for my 2.0L in my drag car.

I had to double check the pics to believe it was a rebel.

 

That turbo looks HUUGE on the rebel, it looks about like the same size setup i have on my GSX-R1000, pretty slick setup though, good luck getting that thing to spool

 

Yours sounds impressive, too.This one is way over the top, and I really want to see how it works.

 

I took it for a drive a couple moths ago and it had a small oil leak I didn't get very far, but I'm now going back to finish it shouldn't take long! Can't wait to see how it runs
