Very cool how you adapted this fender to fit your Rebel, do you by any chance have a link to the actual fender you purchased? That'd be hugely appreciated, I'm looking to do the same thing to my 2015 bike. Thanks.

 

what rear fender do people normally use?

People normally use the stock fender.

As for those who swap them, the sky's the limit. I've seen Sportster fenders, front fenders from bikes with 19" front wheels, Chinese Rebel-clone fenders, trailer fenders, the Blue Collar Bobber fender kits, and the occasional doofus that thinks it's cool to bend an old automotive license plate or two into something that really doesn't resemble a fender but more of a...well, the best way to describe it? A license plate sticking out from the seat.

I modified the stock fender on two different Rebels and cut down a 750 Aero front fender as well.

 

almost any rear fender from almost any bike will fit since the Rebel has such a small rear wheel - it may not fit well but there will be plenty of room for the tire

I used a aftermarket harley dresser front fender. cutoff the mounting tabs , cutout for the chain ,trim the length by the swingarm. the fender is a little narrower but will spread out when you bolt it up , with no damage

 

The bike and that picture is a 450. And he hasn't been seen since March of 2019 on this forum.

You have to drill holes in the fender to fit the Rebel mounting points.
