Hello everyone my name is Chris, I'm 18 years old and after many years of waiting and patience I finally saved enough money along with convincing my parents (the most challenging part) to buy my first motorcycle. Shes a 1986 rebel 250, immaculate for the age. I scored the bike at a generous price of $800 bucks, Keep in mind the bike is pristine and road ready. This is so far the greatest gift I have received yet, I have plenty of experiences on motorcycles due to the fact I ride motocross and am no stranger to the power of a 250 2stroke. Friends question and even ask why I would settle for a 250cc sized bike? Why on earth would you need more then that especially for a first bike. My whole goal is to feel the wind in my face and experience the thrill of just riding (don't forget the generous mpg since I am a college commuter
. With a top speed of 85 roughly that's perfect I never planned on racing around on a sports bike especially on the street, That is what i have dirt bikes for. Anyways I plan to be getting my motorcycle license in the next 2 weeks, If anyone would like to leave me any advice and tips I would greatly appreciate it considering my nooby status. Thanks everyone and ride safe!
