Saw a listing on ebay (while looking for my headlight) Guy has a Hensim 250 Honda Rebel. I looked it up. Man talk about deceiving. Hensim is not Honda. But is anyone familiar with these bikes? I mean it looks VERY similar to a Rebel but you can see the differences. How similar are they really?

That might be where they get the oversize fuel tanks from.
The engine is probably a copy of the rebel's 250. there are may of those. even 300's, just a 250 with an added cylinder.. Looks weird:eek:

Personally I think they look cheap if you are comparing to a Rebel.

Engine is made by Lifan (I think). Lists out at 233cc with 16.3 HP @ 8500 rpm. The Rebel gets 18 hp @ 8200 rpm. Another one goes under the Baja name in the US, but is identical.

If it's the engine I'm thinking of, the Lifan 250 engine is water cooled and won't bolt up to the rebel frame. There's some kind of Lifan (I think) 350 engine that is air cooled and supposedly bolts right up to the rebel though. Looks almost identical to the Honda engine.
