Stupid question, yes!
Did the Rebels come with zip ties holding the cables on the handlebars?
My Rebel has zip ties, 3 to be exact. I was just wondering, if they came that way from the factory? Or did a previous owner think they were a necessary thing?
I'm asking because I'm mounting a windscreen. And I was wondering if they are "load-bearing" zip ties. 馃馃ぃ

When you replace them don't snug them too tight. I learned my lesson doing that. The control cables specifically, need their flexibility.

Thank you guys! I've been hooking up my windshield, and my Rebel has three zip ties. So someone must have removed one of them.
As I look at it, it would seem evident that they are supposed to be where the handlebar changes direction, correct?
Again thank you, this really helps. Thanks, Rick
