Maybe we can do a poll for this question? I get about 65-70 mpg ... I read it can be as high as 88 mpg.

65-70 this year. Last year it was 75 like clockwork. I'm wide open or close to it a lot more this year, I figured that was why it's down.

Temperature below 60*F. 80+ mpg.

Temperature 70 to 100* F. 90+ mpg.

On a trip with average speed of 55 mph, 100+ mpg.

65 :(
Although most of my driving is around the 55-65 mph range, thinking about changing sprockets to improve mpg's!
Seafoam on every tankful, but crappy air pressure on tires. Hoping for improvement on next tankful!

1985 250 Rebel. 170 lb. rider. Speeds under 55 mph. 1/2 45 mph 1/2 stop and go. 75 mpg. I can live with that.

82.34 MPG last 527 miles. Last fill was 100 miles on 1.14 gallons. Now I fill the bike and get 5 gallons in a can, top if off every hundred miles or so and I will calculate it when the can is empty and the bike needs a refill. Hoping for just over 600 miles on 7 gallons total.

6 feet and just over 200 pounds here.

regards
Badger

Idrove 135 miles before switching to reserve. On cold mornings I let it warm up for ten minutes. So when it gets warmer I bet that will help.

Depends on the season. When it's cold I use more choke for warm up and the gas mileage goes down as a result. I also have a 30T rear sprocket and do most of my riding in the 55 zone. But it's varied from 55 to 92 miles per gallon. When I ride the expressway it goes down to the 60's. Mostly around 82 miles per gallon though.

69.7 mpg over 4000 miles on this one. (My second Rebel) fuel mix still stock, unmodified exhaust

16 mile commute and weekend cruises around the Carolinas from the beach to the mountains.

170-180 pound rider with small bug shield. Hard luggage adds weight but is fairly aerodynamic so I figure it cancels out.
