Heartwood Southern Yellow Pine (includes several species) is similar. It is loaded with resin and highly flammable.

Well....
How about this one. I used to do some contracting work years ago, & some tools just save so much time. This one is no exception. I've added close up pics of both ends to help this one along.
The new ones have an entirely fiberglass handle for possible electrical problems.
This one is old school, back when almost everyone thought about what was around oneself before starting any work.
Does anyone have an idea on this one? The bar is about 6 feet long.

No it doesn't use flint. But it does operate a piece of equipment that requires safety glasses.

Ok. This tool holds another tool for use.

Ok. Still not enough clues I guess.
Nails are used with this, and gunpowder.

yes of course 😁😁

so it's a handle to hold and trigger a ramset 6 feet from your body in areas where there is a danger of electrical current

what's not to love about that? why would you need it tho?

Close enough! You win! The brand is specifically HILTI.
But yes, at times work needs to be attached overhead, so that moving a ladder repeatedly makes for such tedium.
Please someone else post the next one.
I do have another ready, but I don't want to hog the "floor".
