Obviously they are test leads. They are 10' long.
"What do I use them for?"

There was a guy at work we used to call Uri. He would door tag people as not home before the time was due for the service call. His reply when caught was "I knew they weren't going to be home."

Well... no one has answered, so this is what I use it for. "3 way" light wiring diagnosis. Often people will replace 1 of the 2 switches with a spst standard light switch. Then say that the switches don't work right. I connect the clips to all 3 wires at 1 switch & run the wires close to the other switching wires to ohm them out to figure which is which. It makes it easy to find.

I thought that maybe I'd revive this old game, (I hope no one minds), because I just saw a tool that I keep in my emergency "Go Bag".

It has an unusual name & I don't use it for its designed purpose.

If anyone has strange &/or unusual tools, this is a good wintertime game.

Looks like a combination saw/weed pick knife. Have no idea what it's called. Is that other piece part of it?

The other thing is just a plastic cover. I plan to get a proper sheath for it.
It is a combination saw/weed pick knife. It's called a hori hori. This one is made by Fiskars.
I use it in the emergency kit for digging, chopping, & some sawing. It's a good tough all around tool.
Either flitecontrol or rickybug can go ahead and put up another one. Because it truly is a garden tool for planting small shrubs & trees.
If I find some other strange tool, I'll post it too. If neither of you has one... I guess we could have an open season?

If it helps, it's supposed to be kept extremely clean if it's to be used. This has been hanging on the wall for years & needs a real good cleaning.
