2005 rebel

Hello guys,

I'm on my second year with my rebel and I'm glad I found the forum.

The previous owner changed the rear turn signal lights. I want to restore them to the OEM lights. Does anybody know how to do this and where can I get the parts?

thanks a lot guys.

You can watch the "for sale" section of this forum if your not in a hurry. A lot of people sell their extra's when their modding their bikes.

Jacks Rebel Warehouse may have some in stock. It's best to call him.

They also show up on ebay frequently. If the PO didn't hack up the wires, replacement should be plug and play. If they did, it usually doesn't involve going all the way back to the junction box and you may be able to just unplug the hack job and plug the new signals in. The wires are all color coded, which makes it easy to replace them.

I don't understand how to ask a question or start a new thread; so I apologize for posting this here I:

I have a 2003 Honda Rebel cmx 250 and the only tires that are listed for it are : Bridgestone L303A and Dunlop F11.

In reading the specifications on the bike I find: 3.00 -1847P and on the front tire I find: 3.00-1847P Bridgestone L303A Mag Mo Plus additionally I find size 300-18 and T790?

I looked up the tire on line and found a section width of 11.8 , aspect ratio of 3 aspect ratio of 100, inflated width/measuring rim width 3.36/1.85.

I can not figure out how to figure the size to compare to other brands of tires I am waiting for a garage to get that exact tire in but it only lasted around 5000 miles so I would like to be able to at least consider other brands besides the : Bridgestone L303A and Dunlop F11 also because I would just like to be able to get a tire fast that is good quality.

Welcome, the button for starting new threads is at the top left of the page, but you have to be in a page that displays every thread in each topic. Here's an example.

Honda Rebel Room - Honda Rebel Forum

Tire size for the front is 3.00-18
Tire size for the back is 130/90-15

Those are really all the specs you need. There are a number of other tire brands out there in this size.

Hello guys and gals.

Let me be the first to welcome everyone to HondaRebelForum.com. This site has been a long process for me and will continue to be as such.

Many of you are here because another site has apparently been shut down, where at one time I was active as chopper_town_customs. And while I am trying to make contact with the respectful operator there, I am glad you have made your way here.

My intention with this site is grow a community of people who cant share information and ideas with one another, all while not being subject to any type of belittleing behavior and/or indecent treatment from any member of the site.

Myself and the moderator team will be glad to take any concerns you have and look at them to decide the very best solution not only for the members but for the site as a whole.

There are many plans for the future of this site, some of which involve a parts and accessories division partnered with some of the very best suppliers in the country and the world. These are step that are in the works and are taking time in development stage.

My goal here is to have the site a complete one stop area for any and everything rebel, from information sharing among members, to on site parts and accesories shopping. Of course these things take time, and will be added as they are complete. This site is only in the infant stages of operation and development with more than enough room to grow. The current platform the site sits on is 300GB of disk space and 15GB of daily bandwidth. Which can be easily added to should we outgrow our shell.

Thank you to the members who have been here for the ride, and thanks to the new members arriving for stopping in to see what we have to offer.

Always here to help and can be reached via posts, PM's and direct email to [email protected] Dont hesitate to bring attention to any issues you have.

Welcome aboard, and thanks
