I have the large Viking saddlebags bought used with my bike, but unfortunately am missing a couple of the bolt spacers, and one of the black plastic nuts used to secure the saddlebags.

Unfortunately, Viking refuses to sell any replacement hardware, which I find extremely frustrating. Does anyone know where these spacers and locking nut can be found, or perhaps have experience making a replacement? Haven't had a great experience with Viking customer service, which I hear is pretty common. Unfortunate for such nice looking bags.

Thanks

I'd say it's time for #MacGyverEngineering
bolt spacers are common and can be found through many hardware suppliers..
worst case a stack of washers you could super glue or epoxy together..

Wing nuts are harder than your rubber version, whatever works..

I figured that would be the response, thanks Karma. Hah, I suppose I need to find the fun in hunting down replacement parts... Might as well find more durable bolts/wingnuts than the provided kit anyway.
