The folly of the plastic enricher nut.

It broke off inside carb, got it out. Now looking for a new one, seemingly it doesn't exist for sale anywhere.
I feel like I'm being gaslit by the internet like some weird kind of Mandela affect.
Does anyone know the diameter of this nut? I'm about to just get a bolt and drill a hole through it.

it's a 12mm fine thread - 1.5 or 1.75

Welcome to the forum Homesick1997.
Carb work on these is fairly easy, but YES, that plastic retainer nut has caused many of us issues. Primarily because of a PO using a wrench on it.

I stripped mine before I knew it was plastic. The replacement nut on this here is not e exactly the same but works fine. You'll have to pull off the handle with some pliers.
I believe 01-7700 makes replacement plastic nuts for less than the Mikuni plunger.

That was very much considered as well!

His was 15$ but I believe he crafted it himself. It's got a bit extra threadage for added support. Overall, I'm stoked, fits very well.
