Hello! So I’ve been on this idea of having the front turn signals function as extra light in the front but also Amber turn signals . I bought switchback LED bulbs. I installed them with clear lenses. So what I found out is I need to have bought incandescent 1157 bulbs in the rear turns for the front to work. Led rear turns will not light up with the switchback front turn bulbs. So anyway I have switch back front led bulbs with regular incandescent bulbs in the rears. All bulbs function including the switchbacks but I have a hyperflash. I would also like to put led’s in the rear turn signals also. I tried a resistor on one right side rear to see what would happen but it didn’t even illuminate with the halogen bulb or led bulb being connected in the rear. So best I found was the setup of switchback front halogen back. Is there anyway to stop the hyperflash, and how would I be able to use leds in the rear turn signals ? Is my question ! Thank you! Below is the YouTube video

you should be using an 1156 Incandescent bulb in the rear..
1157 type bulb base is used in OEM front signal housing.
Halogen is a special incandescent bulb that would melt Rebel light housing because it burns at much hotter temp than normal automotive bulbs.. Used for headlights and store shelf displays..

Any one of the 1156 Amber LED light bulbs sold on ePay will work in the rear..
Did you install a 3 terminal LED flasher relay?

I refer to halogen just a regular incandescent bulb and yes it’s a single filament 1156. Not 1157 my mistake. No I did not install a different flasher. It’s the regular stock flasher. Which 3 terminal led flasher do you speak of?

yea,, I researched that one some..
seems to be a simple 3 terminal flasher conversion to 2 terminal..

Found other versions with that connector listed

What you will receive will have 2 terminals.. Web page states:
"Whether your OEM relay has 2-wires or 3-wires, our flasher relay is a direct replacement for compatible motorcycles, as the 3rd wire is simply a ground connection which our relay does not require."

Relay Black lead will connect to bike Gray circuit..

Honda Shadow forum has positive feedback from those that have used it..
