Hi!
I bought a rebel 250 with a 15 teeth front sprocket and i was wondering when i should shift for normal speeds. i have an added tachometer too so rpm would be nice too! also was thinking of going back to the original 14t front sprocket to get more top speed even through it will rev at a higher rpm. any thoughts?

I've got the 15/30 on my '85 and my '86. I shift by ear completely.

Yes. But remember that those original markings are extreme top shift points for the 14:33 configuration.
