Hello all. Just want to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Bruce, I'm 57 years old and have been riding since I was nine. I've the years I've ridden or wrenched on just about everything from Arial to Zundapp, and everything in between. I had my own repair shop in Galveston County, Texas for about 15 years before relocating to the East Texas area. I also spent about 15 years teaching both the Basic and Experienced Rider Course from MSF in various parts of the state, mainly Harris County. I'm here to both accept and offer advice, and to keep an eye out on hard to find parts, especially '70s and '80s four cylinder bikes. Feel free to message me for anything and as always, keep the shiny side up and ride like you're invisible to cars, because you are. Thanks for having me.

I didn't say thank you for joining with my welcome.
We need more experienced riders to help the ones more interested in "How fast they can go" than realizing how fast they can suddenly stop!

Even some of us that're going on 50+ years of riding have made some serious errors, (my life flight included), & need reminders.

I did enjoy the '80s Suzuki 4cyl GS650L. Small engines with so much power. The in-line 4 cyl design was a wonderful way to get lots of power while still staying below the (HD influenced), restriction to 800ccs for foreign bikes.
