Hello! Finishing up the bobber build on my 2007 Rebel. Put new tail lights and a new brake light on. Lights work except the new brake light won’t brighten when I apply the brake. It is an LED light. Any help is much appreciated thanks!

What type of lamp base does the LED have? If it will accept a standard 1157 incandescent bulb, try one in there. If it works, the LED bulb is bad.

Photo of light please. Link maybe?
LED bulb or entire LED fixture?
Is the housing grounded? Should it be?
Is the fixture 2 wire or 3 wire?

Very similar to what I used.
Mine works without issues on my 2001.

Could a wire have came loose?
Bad light is a possibility. I have learned my lesson and check lights before I install them. China quality control is sketchy at best.

I plugged in old stock light to see if it was wiring and that one works just fine. Guessing it may be a faulty light like you said.
