I’m working on my 2006 Rebel. I’m trying to find a way to mount my rear fender without welding or drilling holes through the swing arm. One way is to make brackets and run them on the rear axel bolt , but if I do this I will end up with only 1 1/2 traeds on the axel bolt. Any of You Gentlemen have found LONGER axel bolt that works for the Rebel. Maybe 1/4 of a inch ??.? Thanks.?

You could get a longer bolt or shorten the spacers on each side.

Only advisable if you're using precision equipment, otherwise one millimeter off and you're wrecking your sprocket alignment along with your rear wheel tracking.

I have a local shop called Construction Bolts that carries a wide selection. Fastenal might have it. Take your axle to them and see if they can get the length you need.
