should i jet my carbs if i cut my exhaust and put aftermarket air filters on it

More than likely you will need to.

I removed by air box and put a pod filter in its place. I also cut the exhaust pipe off and added "shorty" mufflers...

I did re-jet the carb when I cleaned it...I got the new jets here:

Jets R Us mikuni, keihin, hitachi, holley, jets and carb parts

I only increased the size very slightly, you may have to play it by ear...

What size jets did you end up getting? I googled this site and it recommend 118 main and 38 idle for air pods and stock exhaust.
