I'm interested in replacing the 7/8 handlebar grips on my cmx250. I'd like some that would reduce some of the vibration. Any recommendations?

Lead shot would be the best material as the heavier the ballast, the more vibration it would absorb. But that might lead to significant release of powdered lead, when and if the lead is removed.

The handlebars shouldn't be over tightened in the clamps. If they are, it increases vibration through the rubber mounts.

They make fishing weights in steel, that would be a good, non-toxic alternative. Especially for the next owner!

Forgot to mention it, but but after seeing leebrown66's post, remembered steel shot was available. Small ball bearings would also work.
