As I was reassembling, I got concerned at a point. I installed output and input shafts, shift drum and shift forks. The manual states that I should be able to turn the drum with my fingers through all gears easily. It only rotates about 1/4 " in either direction. Does this mean it's faulty or I don't have the shift forks in proper positions? I had a heck of a time getting the top one in the groove of the drum. The shafts rotate fine on their own.

I am baffled, tired, and still not finished. I am confusing myself with the timing marks and camshaft.
Starting to become disheartened. Everything was coming together smoothly until I put camshaft in. Now crankshaft won't turn.

Is the crankshaft OEM or aftermarket?
