I'm getting ready to repair my starter clutch and need to know if I need a liquid gasket when I put the fly wheel cover back on? If so what kind? Thanks, jack.

no sealant needed if you install new paper gaskets..
tears or gaps in original paper gasket can be supplemented with a non hardening gasket sealant..
I've been happy with Permatex form a gasket for decades..

Crankcase seal
Hello people, I just replaced my crankcase oil seal and noticed the green seal that goes around the edge of the case is falling off... I am wondering how serious that is? i could buy a replacement one eventually but is it okay to ride the rebel like this for a while tho?
