I bought a 1985 honda rebel! It is great, I am leaking oil out of the crank case and bought the gasket to replace it, I acquired the oil seal from the previous owner that did not install it yet. I ordered also a new clutch. Is there anything else I could replace while im in there? I want it to be the first and only time I can to crack it open as its my daily at the moment. lost the truck in Ian few weeks back. Also what size is the clutch nut? bonus points if you know where this pic was taken its kinda world famous

crankshaft oil seal that typically leaks is found behind the alternator flywheel inside the left side cover which should be clean and dry of any oil.. paper gasket is basically used to keep water from infiltrating into the left side cover as there is a weep channel cast into bottom of left cover that is open to the atmosphere..

You will need a 16X1.5mm bolt between 60-80mm long to remove flywheel..
Or spend the big bucks and buy Honda's flywheel removal tool part # 07733-0020001
Tool Titanium Steel Composite material
Arm Jaw Gesture Font Elbow

Wet Clutch is located behind the right side cover, there are a couple of 16mm Nuts that fit the bill

Members here have had good luck with Chinese replacement clutch that comes assembled in basket, new springs, etc. found on eBay..

Yes, the rubber ring which holds the sif to the oil pump.
While you're in there, remove the black ring from the pump and clean the mesh filter. The rubber ring for sure is dried out and will break.
