Hello

The paper gasket between the carb and the intake tore, while I removed the carburetor.

Does the oring seal up aganist the paper gasket? Or does the oring have straight contact with the metal intake manifold?

Im unsure, as my originale is in pieces.
Hope you guys can help me out!

O-ring contacts directly with intake..
Paper gasket is a heat insulator.

I would say your gasket should work fine
