Hi, I recently bought a 1999 honda cmx 250 rebel on facebook marketplace for $100. There’s just one issue, it’s in pieces. Literally the entire bike is disassembled. I think the previous owner took it apart to polish the engine, but never finished it. My question is where can I start? Where can I find good resources/diagrams/videos of how to put this thing back together? I’ve made a start myself, engine is in, and the wiring harness is attached, but that’s about all I’ve got. Trying to figure out where to run the fuel lines right now and the electronics to get this thing running if that helps point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Nice project bike!
Are you planning to restore it to original design or... keep it in the (IMO ugly), bobbed state? Or maybe make it into a comfort cruiser?
I live in N. E. Ohio, where are you at? There are many members that are willing to lend a hand (figuratively), online. And maybe some can help in person if you live close enough.

If you click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the screen you will see the word “gallery”- click on that and hundreds of pictures are at your fingertips. Of course having a friend with a rebel would be great :) a picture is worth a thousand words but the real thing is worth a thousand pictures!
