Of course you are correct, it would be 5 o'clock. I now have to look for a box to send it.If you are viewing in mirror the jet will appear to be at about 7 o'clock as your view is reversed..
the accelerator pump (circled in red) is on right side thus non-removal brass accel jet must protrude into intake horn at about 5 o'clock position..

flitecontrol indicated he may have rebuilt 2nd gen carb as well.
