Needed a bigger bike so we could explore more of California but man the Rebel is just a much more fun bike in the City. The CTX is small enough that it is conventionally a good City bike too and the plan was to sell the Rebel but honestly don’t know how I can. Taking my wife to work involves two dodgy U-Turns, San Francisco hills, and tram tracks. I feel way better about doing all that on the Rebel because of the centre of gravity, the rake of the steering (I’ve got the BlueCollarBobber handlebars), and just the size of it.
Will see if I keep the CTX and the Rebel when I need an off-road adventure bike I guess.

Lots of us keep the Rebels regardless of how many of the others we get out of our stables. I think that you now have the same feeling as the rest of us regarding these wonderfully maneuverable bikes.

I don't do a lot of city riding and no double up, but think the Rebel's forte is outside the city. I got a bigger bike and rode it for a couple of years while the Rebel sat idle. Big bike broke down and I got back on the Rebel and discovered how much more I liked riding it. Light, flickable, reliable, easy to maintain. Now the big bike has sat for about a decade and I have no plans to ride it again.
