Since this is a new thread i will enter a new bike. Full disclosure, i don’t own this one any more. I bought this bike for $250 with a seized engine. I had dreams of rebuilding the engine but was probably a bit over my head. I was a car mechanic in college but that was long ago. I was lucky enough to find a low-mile engine on craigslist for $225. I had never done a bike engine swap so I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. I reupholstered the seats with a $35 eBay set, they came out great! I put on a Chinese gas tank(eBay again, less than $100) and put decals on it. Lots of cleaning, shining and touching up. I had a great time with this bike but you can’t keep them all…i had to make room for the next project😀
