Hello guys! I have a 96 rebel and my bike all of a sudden doesn't start! 3 days ago everything was ok, and yesterday that I try to fire it up nothing was happening! No crank, no sound, just my dash lights was coming up! At first I had headlight as well but then that went off too! I thought it was a dead battery so I bought a new one but still nothing! I checked the fuses as well to see if there something wrong there but all was ok! Any ideas??

With the kill switch off, the bike (at least mine) cranks but doesn't start! Now it does completely nothing! I hear no starter engaging, no parts move... :/

Visual inspection of fuses isn't adequate
use a test light or voltage tester to assure voltage is present at both ends of fuse..

The 96 has 2 fuses in fuse box with a 3rd Main fuse located under a little cover attached to top of starter relay

Agree with using a multi-meter to check fuses along with the voltage of new battery. From my experience, new out of the box batteries need to be charged.

Finally I got some free time to work on my bike and the problem was an unplugged wire... It was under the seat so the way it got unplugged is a mystery to me! Anyway, thanks for the help!
