Hi! Me again, if I take the cylinders off can I cut a base gasket from a sheet of gasket material? Thanks.

If it's the same thickness as the original, it should work.

Any idea on about how thick the stock ones are?

I just don't want to buy a full kit with a bunch of gaskets I don't need.

You 'can' use thicker material for a base gasket, but compression will be slightly reduced. Base gaskets are usually pretty thin.
