Banged up spark plug! HELP!!!!

Just purchased a 2003 Rebel 250 for $300. Only has 600 original miles. Previous owner said “It made a lot of noise then quit running. Has been in storage ever since”.

initial inspection shows the driver’s right spark plug has the gap end beat up and bent.
Any ideas what I’m looking at as far as internal damage?
