I've never damaged my hands while pulling a carburetor or putting it back on these Rebels. And I have big hands. I've had plenty of room when I remove the tank and seats first. Also I made sure to buy quality tools so I don't have the "knuckle Busters", (the ones that break when you're trying to use them or slip off and bash your knuckles).
