Pretty sure you can swap a 250 engine into the 125 frame. IIRC, member 88Nightrider, who's from Scandinavia, did that with his 125. Much easier and cheaper than trying to bore the 125 to something bigger.
the 250 engine fits the 125 but it ain't that cheap cause rarely any engines are sold and the bices cost about 2000 where I live so it an't "Much easier and cheaper than trying to bore the 125 to something bigger."
Used 250 engines in the U.S. sell for around $300. It would cost a lot more than that to have an engine bored out, fitted with the correct carb, etc., here. Apparently, the costs would be different where you are.
I think I have 5 engines available but I'm in Europe.
