Hey Does anyone know of any other exhaust headers that would fit the 450? How off would the 250 pipes be? I would like to have another set with aftermarket mufflers and keep my stock pipes. There is no way I’m cutting the stock pipes. Just saying to myself there has to be another option for headpipes besides the one or two rusted exhausts on eBay that are way ti expensive for what they are. Anyone have any knowledge of what would fit up?

I’ve often wondered if like 2 from a CB 900 or something would be close enough that they could be made to work. I haven’t had a chance to find any pipes cheap enough near me to try though.

Yeah. I would like for anyone to chime in to see if they ever tried to match 250 headpipes to a 450. Can’t be that much off. I don’t have my 250 anymore to try and see

I would try the CB450S, because the engine is quite the same.

The diameter of the 450 S is the same, but not the angle. It should´t be to difficult to cut off the oem headers from a very used... cmx 450 exhaust system and use some aftermarket silencers.
