Agreed. Don't use it. It can be used in an emergency, I have used a 21" tube in a 18" wheel in an emergency, but that was on a dirt bike. If the diameter of the tube is to big for the tire/wheel, it will wad up inside the tire, with wrinkles and creases in it, which will cause it to rub on the inside of the tire, and eventually wear through. Get the right size tube, even if you have to order it. Jerry.

Glad to see some "honest'" opinions of dealers on here. With all the nice parts places out there, there is really no reason to go to a dealer for anything, unless you just enjoy getting treated like trash and ripped off. I can remember a time when dealers (most of them) were so much better. These days, they don't even PRETEND to treat you right while they are ripping you off. Jerry.

I actually had a dealer try to sell me a new bike when I went in to buy a part for an old bike that was otherwise in good condition, though it was 20+ years old. The parts guy said they didn't list parts for a bike that old, and refused to even look it up. On the way out, I was accosted by a salesman who apparently overheard the conversation at the parts counter, and he tried to sell me a new bike, while putting my old bike down, telling me how outdated it was. I did a real number on him, used several choice words, and left. Several others also left at the same time.

People complain about "old" technology. 1960s technology put men on the moon. I'd like to see anybody pull off something like that today. Jerry.
