First time posting, so here we go... purchased a 2001 Rebel 250 about 5 months ago. Had just over 3100 miles on it. It felt like there was no other gear after 2nd, it just smoothly would lift, no click nothing. Then it would not go into neutrul. So all I had was 1st...

When I go to upshift into 3rd, I have to hit the shifter twice every time to get to the next gear? Any help would be appreciated as I want this thing to be as safe as possible...
