Turn Signal Staying Solid

I have a 01 Honda rebel 250 for someone reason my turn signals are staying solid. I thought it would be the relay. But I also have a 04 Honda rebel 250 which the turn signals blink so I tried the relay on it over to the 01 and their still staying solid. Does anyone know what else could cause it?

Welcome. Is the turn signal indicator light not flashing, or is it the turn signals? When a turn signal bulb on one side goes out, the indicator light will come on but not flash and neither signal light on that side will blink.

Neither side of the turn signals are flashing. All 4 stays solid when turn on.

Do you have LED turn signal lights on that bike and the OEM flasher and didn't pull the panel bulb to break the leak-across-both-sides-connection the panel bulb makes?

The front turn signals looks different from the standard but not sure. The rear ones was missing so I order the saddle boxes that has turn signal built in them and put on bc that’s what other bike has.

Not sure if you can see or not but the turn signals are darker than normal so I’m not sure if them are the oem or not

The front signals are similar to OEM, but appear to have smoked lenses. Hard to say for sure.

Is this happening with the engine running? Your battery voltage could be low enough that the flasher won't work. Also it could be a grounding issue.

I never tried it with engine on. Only with key being on.

LED sounds likely since both front and rear are replacements....

Here is an easy test...

unplug the instrument panel lights connector in the front junction box, (the black connector)

and if it changes to only the selected side steady on instead of both sides steady on, that would confirm it has LEDs with a non-led-compatible flasher.

There are several sticky threads in the electrical-charging-battery topic about upgrading the flasher unit for leds and how to deal with the panel light.
