|MX429||Yes. If you short a rear tail light you will blow a 10 amp glass fuse in the fuse box on the back side of the battery box. When the fuse is blown, it will kill everything.|

Thanks so much for your input. I ended up going to lowes to buy some spare glass fuses and the 20 amp razer fuse and swapped them all out. Sure enough, one of those was bad because changing them all made her fire right up. Thanks for your timely response, I really appreciate it!

|flitecontrol||Some times fuses can appear good when they are not. Try jumping it from a car battery, but be sure the car's engine is off. If it starts, the bike battery is bad. I had a battery that indicated 12 volts, but it wouldn't begin to turn the engine over, let alone start it. Turns out it had a bad cell, and just wasn't producing the amps needed to start.|

Short circuited bike, completely dead
I was recently working on the turn signals on my 2007 honda rebel. Unfortunately, (rookie mistake ) I left the battery plugged in and short-circuited one of the rear turn signals causing a small spark. At the moment, having the key in the on position yields no responses. None of the lights turn on, and pressing the ignition button yields no response either. I already tested the battery and it is fully charged. I also checked all the fuses and none are blown. I managed to turn the bike on by push starting it and noticed that all the lights dim/flicker in response to the idling of the bike. I'm not sure where to proceed from here, if anyone could give me some insight on what to check next, I would greatly appreciate it!
