|craftyrafter||I had a similar thing happen with the rear turn signals. The issue was that I swapped two of the wires that went to the back end. What would happen is that when I pressed the brake the rear turn signals would turn on, but the license plate light would turn off. The brake light functioned like normal. If the license plate light didn't turn off, I would have kept it like that, because extra brake lights aren't a bad thing. Getting the correct color wires connected fixed it.|

|Cydney Dominique Seiber||Okay I didn’t know that. Thought if you hooked them backwards than it’d throw a fuse. I’ll try that today. Thank you|

Correct, if you have these 2 wires switched the unit gives you steady on lights instead of flashing

|Cydney Dominique Seiber||So switch it on the relay not the wires coming from turn signals?|

what @kryton is saying is swap the wires at flasher relay..
see if that changes no flash condition..

|Cydney Dominique Seiber||Are you meaning the wires? Coming from the turn signals? I’m not sure if the front ones are after market or not bc that was already on when bought the bike. But I order some saddle boxes that had turn signals built in them.|

Is it an aftermarket electronical flasher unit?
If the B (+12 from battery) and L (load/Lights) are connectec backwards the electronic ones stay on and don't flash.

|Cydney Dominique Seiber||I did. I also pulled my bulbs and indicator relay off my 04 bike to put on the 01 to see and be certain and no matter what I’ve tried their still staying solid when I turn them on.|
