Shadow Shack This thread may become less active now, I left the majority of the MC groups I was in. I couldn't wade through all the stupidity just to find the one semi-useful post that might be made.

I'm still part of a couple Rebel groups along with a Shadow VLX group that I moderate, but the rest are gone. I have faith that someone will contribute something worthy of this thread in one of those few remaining groups...

Shadow Shack Just remember: facebook is the reason why forum traffic across the net has declined...because forums don't cater to the lowest common denominator.

flitecontrol It's probably a good thing I'm not on Facebook.

Shadow Shack That wasn't my response, it was somebody else...I just found the exchange hilarious though.

flitecontrol Well, he obviously knows how to solve his problem, your advice is just ruining his concentration on the solution.

Surprised you didn't suggest where to put it since he asked.

Shadow Shack Time for the inevitable eye-roll.

Shadow Shack Ah, the bottom got cropped off. In that cropped off portion I (blocked out in red) was explaining that only two 750 models were offered in 2006, the Aero and Gen-1 Spirit. The Aero is a shaft, the Spirit was a chain and switched over to shaft a la Gen-2 the following year.

So going by Mister Misinformation (blocked out in pink), he obviously had an Aero --- assuming he at least got the year right, I'm not holding my breath for accuracy on that though. I mean it's pretty sad when a total stranger knows more about your bike sight unseen than you do as the owner.

Ted T It's not a shaft it's chain if you look closely
