Greetings, sir, in one of your posts you mentioned that there is some "mesh" on one of the carburetor jets, and that if the mesh is missing, the bike won't run right. My bike doesn't idle as smooth as it should, carb is clean, has an intermittent miss at idle. I don't see any mesh on the end of either jet. Which jet is supposed to have the mesh? Thanks

I found your post about first gen carbs for older (1986) honda rebels.
Do you still have any of these available?

I really have to give you honor and respect because you hold this forum on a narrow path, I speak of the Honda Rebel being the beginners bike and a beginner needs to learn everything before advancing to the next level. Some have bought a power plant on two wheels and yet the website remains focused on the Rebel.
You know how I found this group? I was looking for advice about a larger bike. After all the advice and reading a whole bunch of posts I seen the value of the 250 Rebel built for me specifically. Thankyou Mr. Flight Control for all you do.

Just wanted to drop a profile comment to say thanks for all the help. Most forum noobs don't get that and it's greatly appreciated.

wanted to take a min to tell everyone in this forum thankyou. I wasn't sure how so maybe you could spread the word. Thanks to this site I took an 05 rebel that would hardly run (i traded an ak47 for it)and have it running like a brand new machine. This is my first bike and with only the help of this site i adjusted cleaned and lubed the chain put on a new front tire and completly removed disassembled and soaked the carb. successfully assembled and reinstalled it. I just finished taking it for an hour long test drive and she ran like a bat out of hell! the longer I drove her the smoother she ran I'm six foot tall and about 230 lbs and i burried the spedometer needle. I could not have done it without this site and would have had to pay no telling how much in repairs. thanks so much and ride safe
