Thanks Daniel for getting back to me. I will gladly give you whatever i don't end up using like will most likely not use the waist buckle and let me see about the straps. I ordered the medium size. I hope i can make it all work because saddlebags just don't hold much for a trip in my opinion. If it rains i'm screwed though lol.

The bottom of the rucksacks are heavy leather and have over 1" clearance from the pipes. They do rub some of my paint from the shock coils but yours are chrome and should have no problems. 2 strap are attached at the top where the shoulder straps were and lay over the pillion and adjust the height level. I removed the pillion and laied a strap under it and bolted the pillion back on. This strap goes through two loops at the top center of the packs then buckles across the pillion.

I am not sure how best to attach the Alice packs but will dig some out in the morning and look it over. If you don't use the shoulder straps for the Alice really need some. Hint hint. I also need a heavy waist buckle for my large Alice. It came with the quick release sliders and they suck.

By the way Alice came in 3 sizes..what size do you plan to use?

    Daniel
