I saw a thread where you mentioned something about a picture of a vented gas cap but I am unable to find it. Could you send it to me or help me find it?

when replacing bulb units with led units and electronic flasher, which diodes would you recommend? is a 1n4001 too much or would or a 1n9194 be adequate?
    thanks

    Hello Buickguy,
I'm thinking about the MC Hi-Way Pegs (3356..O-Ring) but saw where you said there was vibration when running. Someone else said that there was a buzzing sound when idling. And someone ELSE said that it would rotate (the pegs?) when your foot is on it.

How bad is the vibration. Is there much buzzing? Is that only when idling? How loud IS it?
And what was he talking about rotation? He said something about the mounting holes...

Any info you can give me would be helpful.

I'm still trying to get a close-up pic from the side so I can see just how high they would be. Is it adjustable for height in any way?
    Questions... questions.

I'd hate to spend the money to find out that I don't like them.

    Thanks in advance...

I swear I read the same forums a good couple of times a day..
    Found this thanks to "Nickfracture"

With the relays, I used a few different ones, bought from the Kiwi equivalent of something like Radio Shack? I used 10amp SPST ones for horn, indicators and start button, a 20amp one for the killswitch, and a DPDT one for the igntion (so the headlight is running through it normally, but when you press the starter button it turns off the headlight and powers the starter instead). The ones I used aren't motorcycle specific or weather-proof.. but they're inside a box so it didn't matter.

You know I was going to become an electrician it was my first job and that was how I found out I had that red/green colour blindness..

Am I able to get these relays and wire them up to the correct pins?

    Thanks BG!

Alright so how do you think I would be able to get a new push button attached? Also I've managed to stop my headlight from working from playing around with the ignition and push start button. I've added a new ignition and I've kind of put myself In a tough position. I sort of read something about adding a SPST relay and switch, I wasn't 100% sure what but I had to buy a multimeter to help find the issue about the headlight so I've bought myself a:

    RELAY HORN 12VDC 30A SPST W/FUSE,
SWITCH PUSH MOM IP67 RED SPST.
Any way these babies will be any help?
I know your probably laughing at me but I sure am trying!

    Cheers Bg,

    Hi Buickguy,

I'm sure you get a million messages just like this but I figured you'll be able to give the answer. I'll be quick.

Aussie Rebeller CA250 Start push button question.

4 cables going to the actual push button. Am I able to get a 4 pin Push button for example:
    "http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400914190752" 3A/250V AC
I'm assuming the switch rating is the issue with changing the starter push button itself. If I could just "get a differnt push button" what switch rating would I be able to use?
Also I found this which comes with a relay
    "http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Universal-12V-Blue-LED-Engine-Car-Start-Push-Button-Switch-Ignition-Starter-Kit-/252101965410?hash=item3ab272b662:g:hM4AAOSwd0BV28n 0"
This one i think is what I have to buy to make it work.
    Rookie mate!

    Hope I'm not intruding.

    Thanks BG

Hey B-man. Mind if I call ya B-man? Anyway I have a question. I work at a sign manufacturing warehouse and we use 12v LED bars on some signs. And we also use Westrim toggle switches for on and off. Well I thought it would be a good opportunity to use snippets of led lights and an On/Off switch. I have set my LEDs this way,the red wire is connected to positive terminal on my battery, the black wire is connected to the switch, then continues from the switch to the negative terminal on the battery. Is that okay for my battery, or am I missing something that won't drain my battery???

Thanks for the tip on the AutoZone female socket.
Seems everytime I open my stuff I wind up someplace new so I had to write you from here.
