New bars and grips

Ok guys everything worked out..new 8” chumps and grips! Stock cable! Only one little thing..there is about a 1/4 “ or a little more of play now in the throttle at rest. In other words I let the throttle off and it goes off but there’s a little play there now..any thoughts? Thanks

I did. Just learning as I bob. Lucky enough to start with a quality 09 250. So ya I like mine stiff, and adjusted accordingly

Thank your wife for her service for me.

I'm not native here either, also from California - dad was in the military and we moved when I was very young. Have you learned to say Nawlins yet, or grown to love red boudan?

No rallies down there that I'm aware of. There is a really good one in Ohio every year that I attend. There are some excellent motorcycle roads, and good food and company. All bikes are welcome. If you ever get the chance, that would be a fun one. Haven't been to the Cave City rally in Kentucky yet, but hear good things about it.

If you are looking for fellow Rebelers to ride with, you could let folks know by posting in the appropriate regional forum and specify New Orleans.

We’ve been here a few years and will be here for another couple, then she retires from military and we are funny enough moving to Dayton OH. By then my Reb will be done and bobbed so I’ll like to attend the rally! Where in Cali are you from? San Diego me. I still work out of the Bay Area every two weeks for two weeks at a time, driving tug boats. I’m 40, you?

Birth certificate says Vallejo. Reading it as a kid, thought it was pronounced Valley-joe. I was less than two years old when my father transferred. I'm a 71 year old retired wildlife biologist.
