Weird noise on 2008 Rebel

I recently bought my first bike, a 2008 Rebel. It’s has 16,000 miles on it. Today, after riding home, I noticed when I pulled into my driveway that there was a weird sound coming from the engine or the transmission. I’m not entirely sure how to describe the sound. Possibly whirring or whining? Maybe a slight rattle? I know this isn’t very specific. I took a video on my phone but can’t seem to put it in here. Thanks

If a slight rattle, might want to carefully put your hand onto the headlight while riding in an abandoned parking lot (for safety) and see if that is the rattle.

I do not have any idea about the whirring or whining.

Welcome to the forum. In addition to the headlight rattle, worn out, abused, or poorly adjusted chains can make noise.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

My license plate made a buzzing sound until I put some fabric bushing things on the backside. I think they were the things made to stick to the feet of furniture to prevent the feet from scratching wood floors. Worked like a charm.
