As mentioned above, please provide examples so we can look further into this issue.

OK in the thread "Rider's Backrest" Post 1 has a link. If I right click and copy it shows as

http://redirect.viglink.com/?format=...s%20%7C%20eBay thread "Rider's Backrest"

If I click on the link Chrome opens a new tab and the url shows properly in the tab.
On the Url line it shows "About: blank" and the browser hangs and does not load the page. This is different from the behaviour before I reinitialized my browser when it would hang for a second and then go back to the original page.

Jim if I copy that same address using Chrome on Vista, and paste it into Quick Reply, it looks very similar to yours, except it stops at eBay. The last 3 words - thread "Rider's Backrest" are not there on mine.

When I hit post it converts all the gobbledy gook into this:

http://redirect.viglink.com/?format=...s%20%7C%20eBay

If I click on this link, I go to the same eBay page as if I clicked the original link in the thread although now the label of the link is completely different than in the thread.

Don't know if this helps anyone, but thought it might.

you made sure your browsers are updated? I checked out the thread: http://www.hondarebelforum.com/f79/r...st-107930.html

Link seems to be working find, there is a viglink re-direct though, however we're also partnered with viglink iirc.

Yes Chrome says its up to date. No links work for me on this forum. They just hang on a blank tab.

I'm using IE 11 behind a proxy/firewall and the links open correctly for me to the ebay ad for the driver backrest, so its likely an OS security setting or a browser security setting...

For those that cannot get it to work, are you running any sort of ad/script blocker?

I will post the link here again for testing:

So I have stumbled onto a new glitch. I posted a few pics from a hosting site and a few days later I attempted to post some more in the same thread from the same hosting site and they are not showing up.

The thread in question: https://www.hondarebelforum.com/f12/...ct-122419.html

Re: posts 2, 4, & 8...2 & 4 have pics while 8 does not

"Ride Safe, Chop Safer" Motorcycles are not unsafe. However; they are extremely unforgiving of inattention, incompetence, ignorance, and stupidity.
Dismantling, sawzalling, and rattle canning does not make a bobber.
Those are STEPS toward customizing, not customizing unto itself.

I have noticed several past posts that had the same image place holder.. Right clicking place holder than show image would open photo in another window..
This time right clicking brought up the window below..
Once I Accepted the Risk on just one image all of your other images showed up in the threads multiple posts..
