Checking in from Chicago..

Hi, I just wanted to share some updates from my garage here in Chicago. I have now had time to repair Gin Ba and am adding and updating what I can while she on the table. Got all of the damaged front end stuff off and installed chromed swing arm and engine mounts. Thanks to JRW! (Jack, I have a new list for you!) Looking for new turn signals and working on other 'custom' items as well. Have a few nice parts from a (complete, nicely running) donor bike I picked up for a nice price last year. Specifically, it has a beautiful tank and carb boots that are going on this bike!

Kuro is turn key and ready to go all the time. Love riding this bike. Had bags but lost a lid so the came off. Hunting for new (actually looking for vintage) ones, never going without hinges again! Fishtails here? need to get this bike professionally re-painted one day.

The drag bike has not had attention and will be out soon with fate TBD, but it will likely either be (1) turn over to a profe$$ional to fini$h, (2) continue to work on myself, or (3) sell it. Saving pennies for number one as it is the best option yet will be expensive, not thrilled with number two and will work hard to never see number three thru to fruition.

The CB1 I have is for sale. Comes with a complete other bike, completely in parts. You get a ready-to-ride motorcycle and another in parts with two clean titles. Asking 2k, but taking 1800. Pick up only. I'll take $1750 and would consider reasonable delivery arrangements/fee from contact through this site only! PM me!

Everybody loves pics

Thanks, I like what you did with yours as well. Hoping for a 450 mag wheel 'bolt-on' conversion one day. If you ever make it to the states, look me up. Australia is on my bucket list and if I ever make it I hope to shake your hand.

Hey, you're a moderator, question: Why did this whole thread get moved out of the 450 section?

I did not include pics of the CB1, just mentioned it being for sale. Was that it? I was planning to add here in this section with an appropriate thread title and pics, but found my original 450 post moved here instead?

I didn't think I put it in the wrong section and really could use help with rotating the pics properly vs. moving it to the For Sale section? Again, mention of the CB1 was just that, I would rather remove mention of it (as it seems to be the reason this whole post moved?) and return this in the 450 section. I can post an add for that bike with pics here in thr For Sale section later.

Please help (again), confused?

Thanks!

I moved it because it seemed to fit better since you are selling donor bike parts and the CB. I'll move it back.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Yes, I have a problem...

Checking back in again.

Excited about my newest addition(s) to the stable: A nice Crimson 450 and a Rigid.

I got a good deal on the Crimson one, so gonna flip it. I took it to the shop (more to come on this 'shop' soon) to clean up and prep for sale this spring. PM if interested.

The Rigid will become part of my collection. Thanks again to JRW's custom fabricating for the frame and fab work!

Gin-ba got fishtails and re-jetted, she is a beast, ready for spring travels. Lake Hope'ers: I fixed the back fire so this year will be a little quieter

Kuro got OEM bars back on (love 'em!) and a SS brake line. She needs more signals and working on hard bags.

The Dragster is at the shop, got some tuning, but winter hit so road testing got wiped. Hoping to get it back on the table by April. Gotta finish the Crimson and CB-1 first. Video updates by June.

The CB-1 is at the shop also and will be on the table soon for spring tune up. Still running fine and for sale, looking for $1500 now, but still getting (uber) low ballers and 'tire kicking talkers'. Will be back on it until sold, love riding it both in the city and country. PM me if interested

Road trippin' to JRW in March to get the Rigid. Gonna ride around ATL with a buddy for a couple of days on the way back.

Pics are always nice, I like them and enjoy sharing my bikes

Looking forward to the 2020 riding season, safe travels to all!
