Until recently the neutral problem was just an annoyance, but I just spent 2 months in a very heavy traffic area. Stop lights were extremely long and often couldn't get through on just one cycle. Holding the clutch in all that time was just aggravating. Need to look into resolving the situation.

I change oil myself... shifting to neutral is more easier now!

Apply some gentle pressure to the shift lever, slowly twist the throttle raising the RPM until bingo it slips itself into N easy peasy.
I have this with both my rebel and my shadow, identical feel, identical technique works every time.
