gear shift indicator

Has anyone ever installed a gear indicator on their bike? Was it difficult or just plug and play?

Yes can be done .not plug and play but doable. I have ine in my 250 and works good. Check out ebay for universal gear indicator . they arn't expensive

I'm imagining a Rube Goldberg set of linkages from the pedal up to one of those school coach sports score hand clickers, lol

When u buy the kit it comes with instructions ,But only one magnet i used 2 magnets 1 each side of shift lever, I used epoxy glue to mount them ,and made a bracket to mount the magnetic pickups to .I will find my photos and post later

You can see bracket that screws to frame and holds the 2 sensors
