Any will work. Lots of tire threads here as it's a frequent topic. The brands most often recommended are Kenda Cruisers and Pirelli MT66. The Pirellis are a few dollars more, but more than make up for the price difference by not wearing nearly as quickly as the Kendas. Wet grip is about the same for both.

Enjoy your trip. If you haven't made long trips on the Rebel, you might consider getting a better seat, such as a Corbin or Spencer modification, which is much cheaper than the Corbin. http://www.greatdaytoride.com/faq.html Your butt will thank you. Also, don't plan on making as many miles per day as you would in a car. Around 350-450 miles per day is about all any Rebel rider should do. Riding takes a lot more physical and mental effort than driving.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Thanks Flitecontrol great info on the tires. I really do appreciate all the small intertwined information about each brand as well. Tried your link just get 404. I have a seat that I took off a junk yard reb and had it made bigger with memory foam. Your right about the time on the road Did not occurred to me. This will be my last long distance trip my body has met its limit.

Thanks So Much!

I got the MT66s last year after reading a bunch of stuff. They are pretty great, though I haven't experienced anything else.
