Don't have a first gen bike, but since it requires putting first gen front forks on a second gen to make them compatible, almost assuredly it would.

Keepin' all the left over parts. Gonna use 'em to build another bike!

Here's a pic of the rear rim, but it's pretty obscured by the saddlebags. As for cost, I swapped a set of spoked rims for them, and paid for shipping. Weight? Don't know, and don't want to remove the rear rim and tire just to find out. If I can remember, will do it when I replace the rear tire. Haven't mounted the front rim yet, and will try to get a weight on that and report back.

Pretty sure the newer "AJS" models have rear wheels with disc-brakes too which is quite handy
